Why does that matter? Don't a majority of people in America have a pre-existing condition?

Should we shut down society and business's because Americans are fat? No. That's why.

Plus with so many of the deaths having one or more other serious conditions you have to question what the people are dying from. It's far more likely the other serious conditions are the cause. Having Covid becomes more of a coincidence rather than a cause.

Now I can't even find the reports on the CDC website but its about as messy as you might expect. This was a screenshot and its the label and not in the data.

We are a very unhealthy country with unhealthy habits, so yes.
So then why are people still latching on to the 6% thing? It doesn't invalidate the other deaths at all. Lots of people that die have pre-existing conditions. That doesn't make what they died from invalid.
