Like the end of the article when he mentioned ireland's career.
I agree with Reilly but I also agree with how concerned the execs are with the off-field incidents. If I were an NFL exec, I would be more concerned with the people whom these athletes are associated with recently instead of let's say 10-15 years ago, although in this case, Dez Bryant's mom herself has quite a history.

Reminds me of scenes in school (college), where upon meeting someone new they immediately ask where you are from and form some judgment off of you based just on that....like it's the student's fault that their parents raised them there.

"Oh you're from XXXXXX." followed by the person thinking "everyone from there is a (insert word/phrase of choice) and dumb" or "this kid must a be a snobby rich one who thinks they own the place"

Not to mention that most assumptions of a person based purely on where they're from are wrong, but the judgment lingers.

Most people are products of their upbringing and situation. Malcolm Gladwell explains it pretty well in his book Outliers. If you're on ESPN.com a lot he occasionally is involved in a Bill Simmons article.
