The post doesn't tell me what team they play for or why they would be suspended, so yes. Context is awesome!

Only the most casual fan with their head in a hole needs to be told who this guy is.

Does this description fit you?

Doesn't really matter at this point. Texas is just another Big 12 team in a down year for the conference that ISU can't afford to have bad losses to. I suppose in that sense, this is good news.

Kabango is sitting on the sideline cheering on Texas finishing off 23 North Carolina. He looks clueless about the report. Texas Admin hasn't been notified of the NCAA decision, just as ESPN bottom line reports his supension from the Yahoo report. Feel bad for the kid, didn't sound like the violations were that serious, but who knows what the NCAA will decide and why from case to case.

If you are unaware of who he is:
Kabango was the number one PG recruit in the nation before last year. he played 30 minutes and averaged near 10 pts per game for Texas as a frosh. Many people believed that Texas's slow start was due to him be suspended and they would rebound once he was reinstated.
As the announcer just said "this news could be devistating to the Texas this year."

Figured this was common knowledge. It's like saying THE WORLD IS ENDING! And someone asking which world.

Let's try this again. Watch as I transform this into a worthwhile post!

Myck Kabongo suspended for season

Who, where, what, why? All we know is the "who"

Texas guard Myck Kabongo suspended for season

Hey, that was easy! Now we know the who and where!

Texas guard Myck Kabongo suspended for season for impermissible benefits

What do you know! Know we have the who, where, and why!

One more step...

Now we have the who, where, what and why!

And then maybe someone starting a thread could even post some comments about how this impacts ISU! I know it is hard, but I promise it is worth it!

CF is a better place when posters put a single ounce of effort into their posts.

The only player that could make Texas MBB any good this year.

Not so fast, my friend. As others have mentioned, they took care of North Carolina tonight fairly handily.

I think we split with Texas this year and both teams protect their home courts.
