I assume a lot of players that transferred out from Fran are playing.

I have a lot of friends that went to Graceland. And one of the graduate assistants for William Penn went to my kid’s high school and his mom is my son’s Speech Therapist. Would be awesome for them to both win on Monday. I might go Tuesday if that happens.

Well, so much for William Penn. They lost 84 - 75. They had more than twice as many TOs and shot 28% for FTs. They led NAIA scoring at 100 ppg but only scored 75 tonight.

Great game and win by Graceland. I have a feeling Craig Doty is going to be a hot name in coaching searches.

just thinking the same thing.
got to hand it to him. I can't imagine being a college basketball coach at any level and saying to a recruit....

Would you like to come to Iowa to a small private Lutheran liberal arts school? its in a town of 2,300 people. its got everything a college kid needs like a Hy-Vee, casey's and an Amish store. and thats really about it.
I guess you could sell that you are less than 2 hours from KC? 1h 15 from DSM?
But geez...thats a tough sell. At least William Penn has a town that looks something like a town for the most part.

Agree, but their affiliation is with the Community of Christ Church instead of the Lutheran Church. But there is nothing to do in Lamoni.

on him taking another job....
Thinking he would be looking at a D2 job or a D1 Assistant job IMO.
D3 is a lateral move and some would say step down as he wouldn't get to offer actual basketball scholarships in D3. So you got to find ways to get a basketball player money creatively. Not sure about the money though.

I will say there is some dang good NAIA and Juco basketball in the state of Iowa.
