I've sort of hated NU hoops since they had a bench guy come in and start a ruckus with Jeff Grayer that got both of them ejected. Seemed like a scripted ploy at the time. So, **** them.

I remember that game. Think his name was Brian Logan. He elbowed hornacek after a layup, and that started it.

Jeff came running in and popped the guy a couple times, and got kicked out.

Except McGowen is a higher ranked recruit than he ever got at ISU. Obviously you need more, but having a top 10 guy or whatever he was should allow you to build SOMETHING. But man they suck. There’s something deeply wrong that can’t be explained by simply losing the transfer and style of play novelty. After this season the Hoiberg era is going to be the worst era of the worst major college program.

mcgowen is a great offensive player but he don’t play defense ver well. He would not work at Iowa state unless he learned to d up
