I'd get a new xbox 360 (with wi-fi built in)... it has the best netflix app (don't know about the ps3 or apple tv) of any streaming device i've used. For reference, i've used a roku, pc, cheap-***** walmart RCA device, and a built-in TV app... all are below the quality you get on the 360.

The nice thing about the 360 version of netflix is that it is almost always updated to keep it performing well. The other aps i've tried start off quick, but anytime netflix makes a change, the other devices seem to get slower. With microsoft's push for digital content apps on the xbox, you can guarantee the netflix app will be well supported into the future (i would assume the ps3 would be the same way).

What do you guys use as your device? I have an Original Xbox 360 (NO WIFI) that I am debating about getting rid of or not because I currently only use it for Netflix anyway and seldom play games.

I am looking at getting a new device before the summer is up.

Only things I want are:
HD Streaming
WiFi
Under $150 but really prefer under $100.

Should I splurge and get a blu-ray combo with netfllix streaming or just stick with a Roku type thing?

I use an Apple TV. Works like a charm.

I have 3 ways, and I recommend all 3. Never have issues.

My TV has internet connectivity, and it has a netflix ap.
PS3
Roku

Had never heard of roku before this thread....so it's basically a device with internet capability that can run application such as Nextflix instant-queue and ESPN3?

If it had ESPN3 capability, I would buy one. Unfortunately Roku does not support ESPN3. But other than that you description is correct.

I wish ESPN3 was available to me. My 360 has it, but I cant watch live games due to the stupidity of my provider.

We bought a Sony streaming device from Wal-Mart. Cost around $75. Seems to work well. Has Youtube, and a free movie site called Crackle with about 275 or so movies on it, also TV shows. Before that we used the XBOX the kids got for X-MAS.

I have serious redundancy in my setup. I have an xbox, appletv, panasonic bluray with net, and the gem, panasonic vt-50 55 inch tv. Each of those will stream netflix, and I only use the appletv (the xbox kinect interface is fun though)... Netflix support is becoming standard. Personally, in your shoes, I'd get the apple tv as it does a great job streaming and is cheaper than wireless bluray players. I really wish my tv was cheaper, and just a monitor. I really don't need any of the applications on it as everything is done better by 3rd party devices.

Another thought (though possibly out of your price range) would be to get a Sony google TV/BluRay combo. I honestly can't vouch for the stand alone model, but I have their older Television with Google TV built in and it's really nice. It's basically like having an android phone on your television, and it has full access to the Android app store.
