In before the Hawk fans say, "he can't be any good because we didn't offer him and he's in our own backyard".

I wonder what this puts us with Hayes? Im still not convinced that chandler will end up coming here, so maybe they will try to still get Hayes as well just in case one falls through.

Never stop recruiting kids, you never know. Unless you don't want them at all that is.

Was Kleinow at one of our camps? He must have really impressed the coaches. With our current OL commits the staff didn't have to hurry to get another. Given that, this kid must be really good in their eyes.

I liked his junior tape. Very physical and relentless.

edit: just read where Jared said he was at the big man camp. Makes sense.

Sounds like he was injured some time in his JR year and people were waiting to see how he recovered. I don't think that he had a commitable offer from ISU until the camp.

I think it's more telling if the current OL situation than the Hayes recruitment. I'm sure they would still take him in a heartbeat.

You dont find it concerning that they havent hardly even looked at a kid in their back yard and we are accepting an offer at the beginning of summer? Time will tell but i believe their coaches have a pretty good track record at identifying OL talent. Who knows, maybe they have kids committed that are higher ranked, Im not real up to date on their recruiting

Nope, I'm not concerned. It sounds like he was very impressive at the big man camp last week.
