I had it at work when they brought a bunch in. Pizza was pretty decent, but I really liked the pasta that comes with jalapenos.

He had a place in Marshalltown for awhile. It was a lot of food for the price and pretty tasty as well. I think I still have a gift card for there - I wonder if he'll take it for his new place in Ames ;).

His problem in Marshalltown was the bad location.

Queue the M'town bashing.

I love some NY-style pizza. I'll check this place out next time I visit. That might not be until the youth volleyball camps this summer though. =(

what can be said that everyone doesn't already know?

Until they discover a way to transmit smell over the internet, there will be no internet M'Town bashing that hasn't been done before.

By the pictures, it looks like it's in the West Cyde Wings location?

Gonna have to bring the family over there.

p.s. I miss West Cyde Wings. :(

Wow how have I never heard of this. Ordering one asap. $12.95 for an 18" pizza and 1.50 for toppings per topping for that is a pretty good deal.

Jeffs Pizza in Ames would be closer to $16.00 and $2.00 per topping for am 18". (about halfway between their 16" and 20")

Joe's Pizza is a little difficult to find because they don't have a big sign. It is between West Towne Pub and Jimmy John's, right behind the Kum & Go station at Mortenson and Dakota. We are really glad that they are in Ames so that we don't have to drive to M-town for their pizza.

Went there yesterday and was impressed with the pizza (ordered an 18" meat lovers), it was authentic New York style imo. Prices are reasonable as well. It is a nice addition to the restaurants in Ames, I would definitely recommend trying it out.

We have eaten there the past 2 weekends and love it. Had pizza the first time and had pasta dishes the 2nd time. The fried mushrooms are also great!!

We ate there before the game Monday night. Later I felt like I was going to throw up but I am 100% certain it was from something other than the food. (Tom O'neal). The food was really good. Family of 4 we ate for $45.00. They start you out with some really good bread. Just wish it came with some marinara. They do not serve alcohol but I believe you can bring your own. We will definitely go again.

Joe's Italian was pretty great, was wondering why he left. There's not much out on Lincoln Way; the location was definitely not the best.
