I like the concept, but I've never looked that closely at Utah's logo...why the heck did they make the feathers like that...the rest of the logo is so crisp and sharp, but the feathers look like they were drawn by an 8 year old.

Edit: Or a leftover from "Oregon Trail" graphics.

Would love to have a grey helmet/uniform like that

I would too if grey was one of ISU's school colors. It's not so it shouldn't be on ISU's unis nor anyone else's who doesn't have grey school colors. The fascination with grey is puzzling and having ISU copycat a ******* look with grey is even more puzzling.

Please show me where white is an official color of ISU? We have done everything under the sun to promote our brand, putting our logo on grey uniforms would align with that. But our football program is to stuck in the mud to follow with current football culture. Sorry if you don't like it, but ISU needs to get on board the uniform train.

Give me every variation under the sun, ISU needs to stand out in the marketplace, and trotting out the same 2 uni combo's every year doesn't get you noticed.

Edit: Forgot the post this to make it easy for you to find the official colors of ISU. http://www.cyclones.com/pdf3/91103.pdf

I would rather have white or yellow helmets before black/grey. Those Utah helmets are awesome though. Rhoads and Pollard need to come to the realization that alternative jerseys are definitely in and we need to join the club. Do anything and everything necessary to set ourselves apart.

Does anyone here honestly disagree that Baylors recent success is not at least a little based on their Oregon like uniforms? Does anyone here think that some of Oregons recruiting success is due to their uniforms? Even if it's 1% of the puzzle, we dont have that 1% based on the fact that we refuse to acknowledge trends.

White is a standard uni jersey color for all schools so it's worthless to bring this nonsense up.

I agree that ISU needs to revise their FB unis but they don't need grey or black to make it look "cool" to recruits and younger fans. Okie St does a great job with their FB unis of sticking to Orange, Black and White for the most part. ISU can do likewise.

When ISU went to the current I-State logo and changed to "true" Cardinal, I wish they would have changed to the gold shade that was on the 2013 JT throwback unis. It is now too late to change and would cost thousands or even millions of dollars to change to that shade on and in all ISU facilities.
