Little leary if he has a big 12 body but the shooting might make up for it. Good luck Kody, we know you'll work hard!

He had some smaller offers but he wanted to stay close to home because his mom has cancer. Hopefully she gets better! Welcome to ISU Kody

Starting to get a SEP walk-on pipeline to ISU. That's a great thing.

Good deal, watched Ingle play at State this year, looked like a good shooter then. Kinda weird that he's defecting from Drake, but I'll take it, especially with Colvin transferring.

Also, with Colvin now gone, why don't we offer him a schollie unless we have yet another schollie guard lined up in recruiting?

could end up as a player, and cant complain since we got him for free... but why are we getting excited about a walk on? CAUSE OUR PROGRAM HAS FALLEN THAT FALL!!! too bad man...

I'm not seeing the excitement level that you are imagining.

Seems like a good shooter, but so was Eik, but at least he's just walking on for now. Maybe whatever assistants McD brings in will be able to coach him up where he can be a productive player. The thing I liked best about the article in the Register linked above was when McD told the kid that he'd have a chance at a scholarship if he improves. That's stating the obvious. Why wouldn't you want to walk onto a program that has 6 scholarships to give out ever year due to player defections. It would make it much easier to get a scholarship that way. Congrats coach!

the fact that not everyone sees the program in the same eyes as this message board is a good thing. The fact that players are still willing to walk-on is a very positive thing in my opinion

For what it is worth, Jeff Hornacek was a walk-on. Turned out pretty well in our favor.
