I think it is critical we get the next 3 games over teams we should beat (although Texas on the Road will be tough).

That will put us at 15-5 with 11 Games left with 6 at home

KU
Kstate
Pick 1 of these off at home

@Okie
@Okie Sta
Get 1 win in Oklahoma

Texas AnM
Win

@Baylor
L

Okie
Texas Tech
Get 2 W's Here

@Kstate
@Mizzou
Nope and Nope

Baylor
Hate to need this one

Still at 20 wins going into the tourney ---

Next 3 winnable games are critical --- If we do get to 15-5 here is the scenario

Have to beat either Okie or Okie State on the road
Pick off a Kansas School at Home
Beat Texas AandM at Home
Beat Okie and Texas Tech at Home

I don't think this is out of reach.

An Oklahoma road sweep, a win over Baylor or dare I say both Kansas schools and we are in great shape

I was watching the local Austin news last night and they were talking about UT's tough schedule ahead, and they mentioned Iowa State in the same "tough game" breath as KSU, KU, and Baylor. It felt good to finally be on the other side of that coin.

Can't wait for that game at the Erwin Center next week. Take care of business with OSU and Tech, and nothing would make me happier than to sweep UT.

Depending on how the next 3 games go, I could see a radical range of possibility the rest of the way.

If ISU did win the next 3, I would feel quite confident, although still a few bumps:
KU W
KSU W
@OU L
@OSU W
A&M W
@Baylor L*
OU W
TT W
@KSU W*
@Missouri L*
Baylor W

*I could see 1-2 in these 3 — perhaps interchangeable. If we're 5-2 after a win at Texas, I don't see any of these as unwinnable.

But that's also best-case. I could see losing to KU at home (again:sad:) and even at OSU (although this could be the year that Stillwater skid finally ends).

Lose both games this week, and I see only 3 more wins (most likely Tech, KSU, OU, and possibly BU). :confused:

We really need to win all three. I think we will. 2-1 (losing at Texas) wouldn't be the end of the world, though.

Sitting at 5-2 in the conference is going to get a bunch of fans sipping spiked Kool-Aid before the KU home game. That will be an awesome game to be at.

IMO losing at home to K-State is not acceptable this season. They haven't shown that they're any good away from home.

We've been making over 10 threes a game to keep us in some of these Big 12 games. I hope this continues.

If this team is going to take the next big step they need to win the next 3. I'm thinking 2 or 3 though and I'm fine with that - can't go 1 and 2.

Understatement of the year.
