Sucks that Brock plays during the KU game. How long has the NFL played on a Monday for playoffs? That seems like an unfair day for the winner of that game getting one less day to recover and gameplan.
Last year was the first year for Monday Night Playoff games I believe. Yes I think it is a bit unfair for the shorter window for next week but I guess you can say well they get extra time to prepare for this game especially compared to the 4 teams that have to play this Saturday.Sucks that Brock plays during the KU game. NFL isn’t worried about fair. They want whatever makes the most money!Sucks that Brock plays during the KU game. How long has the NFL played on a Monday for playoffs? That seems like an unfair day for the winner of that game getting one less day to recover and gameplan.
Yeah, I see that side of it as well. But the following week they should play an opponent with the same time between games no? It would really be unfair if the team that wins on Monday plays a team that played on Saturday. I haven't found a full schedule. So is it possible/likely that SF and Dallas play 2nd round?Last year was the first year for Monday Night Playoff games I believe. 100% this. I wouldn't bet any money on Dallas winning this game. You can't ask for a much easier first round playoff game than this but I don't trust Dak or the recent defenseBuccaneers don't really deserve their playoff spot (not to mention even hosting a game) so I really don't feel so bad for them. At the same time, I could see the Cowboys crapping the bed in this game as well.
Well, the franchises make up the NFL, so they are being unfair to themselves.NFL isn’t worried about fair. They want whatever makes the most money!
As a Cowboys fan, I fully expect us to lose to the undeserving Bucs. Just look at how we did in week 1 against them...Buccaneers don't really deserve their playoff spot (not to mention even hosting a game) so I really don't feel so bad for them. I'm the same way. I told my daughter at least the Bengals don't play til late Sunday. That way I'll be interested in the games before. If they lose, I'll probably not watch the rest of the games until the championships. The next two weekends are probably only second to the first round of the NCAA tourney for me.
And as a Cowboys fan at least they play Monday, so if they lose it won't ruin the rest of the games.
No. There is only one Monday night game.Yeah, I see that side of it as well. But the following week they should play an opponent with the same time between games no? Extra time (this week) isn't really an advantage when your opponent has the same amount of time. Less time (next week) is a disadvantage when you opponent doesn't have as short of a turnaround.Last year was the first year for Monday Night Playoff games I believe. That's my point. Whoever wins that game is shorted on rest and prep whether they play a team that plays the previous Saturday or Sunday. And will have travel on top of that. As a Cowboy fan I expect Dak might throw an interception or 5.No. There is only one Monday night game.

NFL doesn't care about all that. Pretty soon they'll add a couple more wild card teams under .500 to make more money off an extra couple games. That's my point. Hence why I said they would have travel on top of that. The winner of the Cowboys-Bucs game only hope of having a home game is if Seattle and the Giants pull upsets.
Sub .500 teams shouldn't even make the playoffs in any pro sport league.NFL doesn't care about all that. Pretty soon they'll add a couple more wild card teams under .500 to make more money off an extra couple games.
