Also at the Alabama game, somebody showed up in an Iowa State shirt and was put on the jumbotron. The crowd erupted and cheered. They're pretty big fans of us in Tuscaloosa.

I can only say that after being in the stadium for both the Iowa and OSU victories, I can conclusively say that the OSU victory was 10 times sweeter.

Hlas made an error (undo assumption) that chiz would have been successful with this team. I can't make or agree with that assumption. ISU needs a certain amount of passion and Chiz did not have that here. He did not want to be here and it was clear by his record and lack of passion. CPR is the only man for ISU
God, I would love to see both of those.
Also, I went back home to Illinois yesterday. I was walking around some stores with my ISU gear on (hat & Insight Bowl Fleece), and I had two people come up to me talking about the awesome game. It was crazy!
I'm fairly certain that if I walk around in ISU gear here for the next few days, I will be beaten, shot, and buried in a shallow grave by an angry mob.
You have no proof of this and GC has gone on to win a national championship -- let it go .............. he left for his dream job after he fired the OC and DC.
That would have been awesome to see! I went and checked out Bama's message board and they seemed to be loving ISU that night! They also said their team was going crazy in the hotel while watching the game.
I wore some ISU gear around today while running some errands and had a couple of people say how good of a game it was. Which is nice because over here in Big 10 country a lot of people don't even realize there are teams outside of the Big 10.

this is just killing Hawk fans. They want us marginalized. They want to believe the perception the ISU program will always be the ISU program it was in the 80s and 90s. Every time ISU does something special, they lash out. They are delusional.
