Because he can't play next year. It takes a very limited amount of knowledge to realize that a freshman transfer has to redshirt.
But I think we've already established that you have a very limited amount of knowledge, right?
I thought he was a sophomore last year, but he will be this year.
Don't worry about me. I have a great job, wife, and newborn daughter. Worry about yourself. You seem like a high school bully that never grew up.
But every transfer has to sit out a year. Only graduate transfers don't have to sit out.
Again, you are the genius that thinks that Hoiberg is not a good coach, so I would expect that you would have basic knowledge about the game.

What does that have to do with him having to redshirt?Have you seen him play?
It's amazing that we're at a point in college basketball where if a guy doesn't contribute his freshman year, he's definitely going to be a practice player his entire career. Ridiculous. Nick gets a year to develop with Fred and then 3 more to continue to improve. I, for one, think this is a great addition for the future.
What does that have to do with him having to redshirt?
Have you seen him play?
It doesn't, I just wanted to ask because he seemed like he knew everything concerning Nick Babb.
Have you?
It doesn't matter. HE HAS TO REDSHIRT. Those are the rules. The fact that you haven't been able to grasp this yet is startling.
No
So you haven't then I take it?
I know that he has to redshirt. That's about it. You are the fool who said that he would contribute on next year's team when he clearly will not be able to.
Since he didn't play much this year, I didn't see him play much. Obviously, he got in a for a few minutes in Ames in December.
But I'm not arguing with you about his eventual impact. I'm arguing that he will have no impact next year. That's all.
The only reason he said that was because he knows the transfer rules. Not sure how you blew it that far out of proportion. It doesn't, I just wanted to ask because he seemed like he knew everything concerning Nick Babb.
It has nothing to do with that. There have been multiple articles on this site and many others that have expressly stated Nick Babb will have to sit out a year if he transfers to another school. The rule is also just common knowledge. All you had to know was 1) Nick Babb is transferring from a D1 school, and 2) he does not have any reason for a waiver and he didn't graduate last year. If you know those two pieces of information, which have been spelled out very clearly in every article about Nick Babb recently, you would know Nick has to sit out next year.Forgive me, I knew nothing about Nick Babb before this week. I don't pretend to know of him for an eternity like some on here.
