Chris Babb was Chris Babb. Nick Weiler-Babb is Nick Weiler-Babb. Treat Nick like any other transfer. He is his own person. Some things he does might remind us a little of Chris...or they might remind us a little of Scotty C. Let him be himself, and don't try to make him better or worse than his brother.
You all heard the lady. Nick is going to start a bunch of games, average over 12 points a game, and shoot over 42% from three every year. #ThugLyfe

Truth. I ******* loved that guy. I credit him almost as much as I do Royce White with the resurgence of Iowa State basketball (speaking just players, obviously Fred played a small part).
I personally believe this is is a bad opinion, and you should feel bad lol.

Back on topic. What did Babb put up against Burton I didn't see the box score on the Cap City twitter.

Have you seen them side by side? Weiler-Babb gives up a lot of bulk to Burton...but hung tough on guarding him. Didn't back down. Had some nice moves of his own to duck the coverage going the other way.

Yeah, it was CCL - and they were doing some goofing off as well as playing - but Weiler-Babb's guarding at one end and shooting at the other end did (as someone else said) keep his team in the game and forced the OT. It was easily the most entertaining game that night.

Oh, I agree Scotty C was one of a kind. I was trying to come up with a transfer that was very different from Chris. :)

Read an interview with him when I was looking for the parents question above, where he talked about sitting out a year being a good thing for him...time to work on his body and skill set. Said his brother told him it really helped.

I also noticed that he went by Babb at Arkansas. I guess that's a question that may or may not be answered somewhere along the line. Maybe he's trying to duck the comparisons just a bit?

If Nick is anywhere near as good of a defender as Chris, we are in for a treat!
