No relay on a Field Goal

With every replay after a touchdown and on "controversial" plays, why was there no replay official stopping play. ISU probably would have lost anyway, but what is another minute or two going to matter.

There is no way you could tell with the replays they were showing, I'm shocked how many were convinced they made that...

They said if the ball was above the upright it wasn't reviewable.

If a kick is higher than the uprights when it crosses the end line it may not be reviewed.

But even if with that. I doubt a camera would have better angle/view than 2 refs under the goal posts.

Kicker shouldn't let it get to an official decision. Kick it closer to the middle and we wouldn't be talking about this.

$1200 worth of cameras would take care of this problem. No doubt no question. Not sure why we are still countung on humans to make so many decisions anymore. Wherever technology can take the place of humans in those positions, tthey should.

Sure did. Had nothing to do with the field goal being good or not. The total lack of understanding the fact that two things can be true at once for some of you people astounds me.

I’m just shocked we can’t stick a couple go pros on top of the field goals so replays can be effective on this type of thing

There’s never a reason to review it unless you put a camera on the refs forehead. Otherwise there’s no angle to overturn it.

I can’t tell from the replays either, but if the guy with the best angle said it was no good then there’s a pretty good chance it was no good. Not exactly a tough call.

Could probably just put sensors in that automatically determine where the ball is in relationship to the goal posts extended.

The game should never be played so that officiating plays into the outcome.
