@CycloneMBB: Nick Noskowiak Not Returning To Iowa State http://t.co/WkyW29TdTr

Sucks but it's no surprise. Hope he can figure everything out and I wish him the best of luck moving forward.

So does anybody know what the deal with his scholarship is then? Not sure if we'd take 2 mid year transfers anyway but would it be open this year or is it burned already?

Hope he gets his life turned around. That's more important than basketball.

Way up there
The only positive is that this came now instead of Oct through March, I really think this kid could have been a good fit for Prohms style but he has bigger fish to fry. Good luck to him, I hope he can straighten things out and get back on the floor for someone eventually. With Naz on the mend, Cooke and Thomas are going to have to step up early on this season.

That was quick. Feel for the kid, not the end of the world, something he needs to learn from.

Well disappointing, but I really hope he gets things turned around for himself.

kids that age are clueless about the gravity of opportunity they are given, like they're invincible. I have always enjoyed most of our transfers in FB/mbb, especially the jucos. They have matured and savored the D1 experience

I think from what Fred had said about other players, that you're spot on. He always talked about maturity, owning mistakes and showing that they've turned a corner. The biggest difference between those guys and NN is that the other guys already when through their issues or hit their low point and were on their way back up. Hopefully this is NN's low point and he can start his climb back up.

only thing quick was the amount of time it took to officially part ways once the charges came out. The struggles & issues have been brewing for quite awhile and imo, this was just the straw that broke the camel's back.
