In before one game at a time
In before lets win this one first etc etc.........

IF we make it to Chicago: Has anyone been to the tourney there? Whats it like, hotels expensive? I cant imagine the tickets will be expensive given the other teams playing there...aside from Mich State.

Any discussion welcome

I agree we should look ahead. Little rock won't be much of a challenge for us.

Not much in terms of hotels around the UC, it's in a pretty ****** area to be honest. Not many bars or restaurants either.

I'm going on Friday no matter what. Gocubs is right, it's right on the edge if not in the ghetto. I'm taking a train down.

Re: If we make it to Chicago:

I live in Chicago and tickets currently appear to be hella expensive. Each day, doesn't look like there's anything acceptable under $150 a ticket. And that's still 300 level, high rows. But I'm only looking at stubhub right now.

I can't decide if this is going to get better or worse. With Purdue out, MSU getting upset would be a dream, because yeah, who would really come to that?

Hotels currently don't look bad, but if you're thinking about it I don't see the harm in booking now and cancelling if we lay a turd Saturday.

There's no reason to stay around UC anyway. Stay on the north side of downtown ("River North"), cab/transit/uber over to UC for game time.

I'll be there if we're playing. I'd give my left nut and right leg, just to balance it out.

Hope for a Michigan State loss this weekend and the ticket price will collapse as Spartan fans try to unload them.

I would probably just find a hotel on the north side and take an uber to the arena

I use to go to a ton of Bulls games when my bro in law was there and my family always took the train from the burbs and it was pretty easy.

It's about 30 minutes to the nearest train station for me. Just wish it was on the weekend so the train would be cheaper.

Per close sources, Fred Hoiberg will be buying up an alotment of tickets and handing them out to ISU fans prior to the game.
