Many like to debate which win is the biggest in Cyclone football history, was it the win over OK State, or the win over OU, or whatever one they want to point to. But I don't think there is any doubt that the month of October 2017 will go down as the best month in the history of the Cyclones. After we lost to Texas, I thought our chances of going to a bowl were probably gone, but they then beat the Sooners, lowly Kansas, Texas Tech, who was ranked at the time, and then TCU. 3 ranked teams, 2 in the top 5, and 2 of those on the road. Unbelievable!

1961 had some good months. McCarney had some good months. The month we won the Insight bowl against Pitt and were dominating Big 12 basketball play with the Fizer team was a pretty good month.

I think the month of October as a school was the best ever. Basketball recruiting went well. Volleyball did well too I think. Cross country swept the Big 12. New president. Yesterday and this past week were ridiculous as well.
