How come our guys seem to go so slow between snaps? it just seems that before the snap we take almost the whole play clock every snap. Is that more of Richardson trying to read the defense or more of the coaches on the side line getting plays in? It also feels like they never have a sense of urgency in hurry up situations. For example on the last drive that Bibbs scored on. The whole drive it felt like the guys never really hurried up to the line and a lot of time was wasted.

Are you complaining our offense doesn't go quick? Because it seems like they are off the field in no time to me. Add jet temp to our 3 & out drives, they would be over so fast the defense wouldn't even have time to swallow the water they drink. It would be like a water station at a marathon... Jog through, grab a cup, dump it on your head, keep moving, and... back on the field.

It's on getting the play from the sideline.

Seems like it does take us forever to decide what to call. I don't know crap about being a player but I would think they would like to get ready and set to run a play with more than 3 seconds to think about what it is they are supposed to do.

Like the difference in playing on the field behind a pitcher who get the ball and pitchers it rather than ******* around on the mound while you wait in the field.

No i'm not trying to complain just curious of others thoughts. i guess the offense just seems to be so unsure and confused pre snap.

I agree. I think Sam should be given some latitude to make a call on the field. May help him get into the flow of the game better and he can call something he feels more confident in. Cannot be worse than Mess.

Our Offensive menu:
Hot Mess Special - run up the middle on first down.
Hot Mess Surprise - option left or right.
Hot Mess Traditional - three and out

Why do you want them to go faster when the offense is struggling and the defense was on the field for over 100 plays? You go fast when the D gets tired. Trust me, they weren't tired at any point yesterday.

Rhoads told Mess that he needs to keep the defense off the field for as long as possible.

And so Mess did what he could to make that happen...

We honestly might as well go back to the huddle offense. We take about the entire play clock to run a no-huddle anyway.
