Not that bad I didn't thinkThe offensive line got manhandled today.

This might be the stupidest thing I’ve ever read here. Today was the biggest game in our history given the eye balls on our HOME stadium. We laid an epically embarrassing turd in front of the whole world. There is nothing more embarrassing than losing today in this game playing the way we played, being completely controlled by our rival (again). There are very few things more important than winning the conference title. And Iowa isn't one of them. Sorry. Could/should this team be able to do both...absolutely. But we are talking either/or here. And I'm not going to slit my wrist tonight over this, or wish for the good ol days of Danny Mac beating Iowa.........then losing to UCONN and Boise State in the same year.
I think the lack of separation from our receivers was a WAY bigger issue than the line on offenseNot that bad I didn't think
Purdy career arc is starting to resemble Bret Meyer

Not usually in September though.

This was an indescribably bad loss where basically ALL of our players and coaches crumbled on the national stage. We are little brother and a joke to everyone who tuned in today. And literally the entire college football world has OPENLY DECLARED our conference a joke, and our new conference and even sadder joke. So no, doing good in conference after this turd fest (and last week’s turd show) does not in any way cover the immense shame we should all be experiencing right now.
One thing I’ll add in anticipation of a really stupid reply to my post; it actually makes it MORE embarrassing that Iowa completely controlled the game with only 170 yards of offense. It was NOT close.

Unless you can simply end playing games in Sept none of this is going to change. Six years of terrible football in Sept. Great football in Oct and a mixed bag the rest of the way.Just end the series.
Largely true.
Exception: ULM in 2019 (Sept. 21!): 72-20.
Although that was a home game. And as bad as UNLV is ... probably not ULM.
I hope this isn’t like 05 where the D kept going ‘here you go’ and then the O would **** the bed and stall.
At least the fans stayed until the end.
The hell they did.
They started storming out at the start of the 4th lolThe hell they did.

If you read his post history, he’s a hawk fan like you are
