Looks like we won all three games by a total of 7 points. Floyd specials - games in the 50s mostly.

I watched this game on VHS recording probably 500 times back in the proverbial day. So damn good. Absolutely loves those uniforms too.

Ehhh, we had a big lull in the first half when Baylor got it down to 4. We had about 7-8 possessions where we just stood around and made silly passes and didn’t run any plays.

Can’t recall who was on Walter all night but wow - we completely shut him down. 3 points on 1-6 shooting, no rebounds and no assists. Everybody saying he’s a lottery pick which may very well happen but didn’t look it tonight.

Think Gilbert had him for stretches as did Milan. Can’t remember for sure.

probably one of the significant yet not talked about story lines of the game.

Did not play well against us in Waco either.

Not to be a downer BUT his whole premise revolved around the NCAA Tournament, so that’s TBD. We get a no holds barred, death match against Houston tomorrow. It’s going to be a war. After that let’s see how the first round game in the NCAA Tournament goes.

Hopefully this week has gotten the groove back, but we won’t know their physical toll until the first round game.

Edit: And if we would lose first round, there’s no proof a three day tournament run is what gassed us or caused it. But that will be the narrative right or wrong.

Meh it will be CWs narrative when you are as young and in shape as these kids you'll be ready to go unless injured.

Marquette will have a similar number of fans in Memphis or Omaha. Why take it away from ISU who arguably has the better resume?

The selection committee will do what is right and reward ISU with a near home game in Omaha.
