Fran pointed out how well Milan was doing defensively last night.
I loved how he pointed that out. Milan was expected to be a sieve/matador on defense and he's been anything but. He's of course not the quickest guy in the world but he's big and rangy and puts effort into it. There's been several times this year where teams will get him on a guard on the perimeter and think they've got a mismatch and try to blow by him and they can't.

This is the king of sieve/matador defense:

Houston seems to be playing on a level above everyone else, so not as confident as the past couple nights.

But getting to the championship, and beating Baylor along, should solidify us as a 2 seed.

We've shown we can play with this Houston team and beat them behind a Cyclone backed crowd. Let's go win the whole ******* thing.

Do they? I feel like with that performance they will have a good shot at winning tomorrow.
There were several times the second half when the lead got to 20 points, plus or minus a few, where Baylor made a few 6-7 point runs. We can’t allow Houston to start a small run like that, it could end up at 10 plus points. We can’t let them even think they can make a small run period.
