Not only that, but AZ State made ballsy calls very early in the game, then did not relent once they gained obvious control. This season we seemed only to go with the most ballsy calls were our backs were against the wall. The HB pass by Hansen. Williams was saying the 4th down play was an RPO, but I didn't think it was while I watched the game. Think it was a pass all the way.
If it was an RPO then they likely would have had a lineman blocking downfield. I agree it was a pass all the way.

I know what a couple get. It's okay but it's not comparable to going rate. Thus the comment about a very good return on investment.

And I am not going to give you the players names or numbers.

Why? Is there some kind of legal reason this shouldn’t be public? That’s another aspect of this scam I don’t like. Anyone that gives money to a “non profit” should have access to know how that money is used. And I mean a detailed accounting.

All true, but the difference was the tackling on Scatebooo. Biggest fear was that he was going to break tackles and he did that and more. Even if the game was tighter in the second half, we didn’t have the studs to stop him if ASU needed him late.
I feel our back 8 couldn't play downhill after AZ St's first couple long passes. This led to later fits, which then resulted in more 1-on-1 tackles rather than have immediate help stopping Scattebo. It was a snowball effect

The biggest play was their big 4th down play. Yes it was still a game for a while after that, but if we stop that and score a TD with a short field we're up 14-3. Who knows what happens after that but all the momentum would have been with us.
The other play was when Scatterboo escaped a sack and threw the ball away. That was a huge break for them.

I think Big 12 might have gotten lucky ASU getting in on tie breakers.

It's pretty obvious with recent results they've been playing the best.

I worry a little that they're likely to get a super cold road game with no way to prepare for that as a program. Texas would probably be their best possible draw by far if they are the 12 seed.

Going deep on 4th and inches from their own 34 was gigantic balls. The whole game could have pivoted on that and they got it.

I agree if that's not a deep shot they're screwed trying to run it their, it wasn't a play designed to get a few yards or just get a first down. Huge guts.

Cheer for Clemson.. they win a low scoring tough game and ASU gets a bye

Sama doing his best Ronnie Harmon impersonation.
Well, I hope he got paid, because that was a serious end of PT if I was the coach. Two, in that stretch of time, in the position we were in, is inexcusable.

Then again, fumble, INT, fumble makes me think somewhere in time, an ISU player ****** a football God’s daughter, got her pregnant and left her at the alter. Because those were some next level WTF series to start the half.

For all the Utah talk earlier in the season, can we all agree that ASU is the definite Team To Hate in the new Big XII?
Nah they'll fall back down to earth after skatybo is gone. Their fans after the game certainly gave me enough ammunition to hate them for a while. Group of them yelling and cussing at everyone leaving the stadium, from families to an elderly ISU couple. D bags.

I get that it's harder to do unscripted plays... but if you make a first scripted drive because you think certain things work...don't understand why you don't think about sticking to those things.

Because the defense adjusts and if you're limited on how much you can really adjust your own players to that counter, it gets tricky.

Mainly things seemed to change up front for ASU with their DL and stunting/blitzing LBs and it threw everything off.
