Just thought it was interesting - Iowa State went from a 58% chance to win after the FG to tie it at 10 to a 15% chance to win after the ASU TD just before the half. Took less than a quarter.

Also I turned it off a little bit after Rocco got lit up but … we won the 4th quarter? Yay?

In the end, the good news is. When Day does get the boot at OSU, it’s games like this that they have to look at and think, “No thanks CMC.”
MC is very good for ISU. He has elevated the program to unbelievable heights. When the day comes when he leaves there will be candidates that can take this program to the next level.

So the Rotters are now out in full force again? What'd it take this time? A loss in the CCG. Got it.

I swear some of you people just look for something to c/o about.

Let me break something to you. We will always struggle uphill in this conference, even as it is now.

But the OL, play calling and players will all get better when we get a new coach. OK. You didn't have to say it, but I just did, for you.

We'll see you next year, after 'whatever' loss. It'll be like clockwork.
This is just silly. We clearly showed this year that we will not “struggle uphill” in this conference. We are finally in a conference where we have every bit of a right and talent and coaching level and ability to consistently compete for the top portion of the league. Right now in this very conference is our best chance to consistently be really, really “good” at football.

And hell yes I (and many others) will be right back here when we win AND lose, and will damn well expression frustration when we play like absolute dogsh*t on national TV in a game we very much should have expected to be able to compete in and win.

JFC, it’s OK to pissed off about that game.

The 4th and 1, 60 yard pass play. We just stuffed them at the line to force 4th down, momentum about to shift hugely in our favor. It was all downhill from there.
That was a heck of a catch from the receiver, it was completely overthrown. We were out of position, if that ball is right it’s a touchdown.

You can never underestimate IMO what "playing to not lose" versus "playing to win" does to a team's mentality. You will never convince me otherwise.

I get really tired of watching all these other teams pulling out all the stops to win... while we go into the half sitting on 3 timeouts and don't even try for a hail mary. And yes.. 99% chance we don't convert the hail mary... but not even trying just kills a team's mentality. And don't get me started on the series before that one. Just curl up and hand the trophy to the other team at the start of the game if you aren't prepared to go out there and do everything in your power to win.

Kicking the FG when down 35 was a nice touch.

Good lord is there a more worthless program than Cyclone Reaction these days? It’s not all sunshine and rainbows when you get absolutely pantsed in the biggest game in school history

I know it’s not in our best interests if these guys get shellacked but I can’t stand Dillingham. Celebrating a hit to the head and arguing a call it took the booth to call that was the most obvious target I’ve seen all year.

Had enough of Scattebo too. All that posing, but does he even get an invite to NY?

Sometimes a little “**** you” goes a long ways. Like to the playoffs. They seemed to have an NFL mentality, dancing on graves. We seem to have a “losing classy is better than winning” mentality.

His guys will love him for it and Cam Skatteboo gets to do whatever the **** he wants u til someone shuts him up.
