They all certainly ran in our C gaps (including UCF here), a lot of time pulling 2 OL, like the ol' counter-trey action.Have to wonder if TT and KU have devised a way to take advantage of how thin we are at LB. Sure seems like that may be true.
Better in what?Oline is better but needs to take another step in pass protection. Rocco with time is pretty good
Yep with that attitude we get to continue to watch what we just did.Your expectations are yours to manage
Well CU has a first round QB and perhaps the best WR in the countryAnd of course Colorado is slashing the Tech defense in Lubbock.
Except for his OLine. Imagine what we could have been with an average P4 OLine. We had Purdy (with weapons) and couldn’t even win the Conference.
Honestly, it’s too many different personnel groupings and schemes. Just spread and pass. He can sling it when he gets in a rhythm. The heavy set needs buried and forgotten. There is a lot wrong with this team, including tons of injuries, but Rocco is not "fine". He shows flashes, but is not consistent enough for this level.
Our linebackers have really been exposed the last few gamesKU just pushed the routes way down field. They didn’t even look at the underneath routes. They flooded the deep secondary. UCF kind of did this too. I don’t really remember how TTech exploited it. I was drunk.
Our secondary isn’t very good at coverage and makes up for their poor coverage with an extra safety. But our LBs need a lot of help right now so the safeties are kind of stuck in no man’s land.
Better in what?
Oh so from complete garbage to just mostly garbage...got itIt’s better than last year, so at least there is some progress
Defense had a couple huge whiffs against UCF but otherwise played fine. Rocco's two* pick 6's made that game worse than it needed to be.The defense the last three games is atrocious. I’ll give Rocco a pass.
F*** them. Leave them out of this thread. If it's any consolation.....the Hoks would give a left nut for him.
Linebackers caught up with us today.
