The wind is kind of annoying but bring these warm temps with it to get this ice gone on the lakes. Rain would be even better.

Hello everyone, I mainly visit these forums to sneak a peek at this thread as someone with pretty bad tornado anxiety stuck in Ames for a while. I'm enjoying the warm weather finally but hoping Friday isn't gonna get really bad for central IA...

Saw somebody mowing their lawn (with bagger) yesterday in north Ames. I thought that was a bit aggressive...

We saw the same in a far SE Iowa town this past Saturday. I really didn't see any leaves worth mulching.

I've got a ton of leaves from the past few windy days, but most of them are matted down into the grass from the wet snow and aren't going anywhere until the ground dries.
