What is a 'cap'? explain to me like i am a hawkeye.

When the cops pull you over in your 1971 black and gold RV on a windy day........and after they hook you up, your tigerhawk cap gets blown off your head and all the blow you had stashed under the cap explodes into the atmosphere.

Phase one is just a Dylan's Hard Rain here in Mpls. Still, driveway looks like the Mississippi River delta, just a huge plume of dirt washed off the bare ground upslope.

This one’s for the nerds. But I will summarize and say that CC sounds pretty bullish for big storms all the way from SW IA up through the moderate risk area. And I would consider him pretty bearish overall. a la usually when everyone else is freaking out and shouting “long track tor!” he’s pumping those brakes.

Surface lows in southern N. Dakota and W. Nebby are shearing out. Dry line while still advancing slowly in E. South Dakota has stalled and even retreated a bit in NE Nebby. Probably in part to main trough in 4 corners taking on a bit more of a negative tilt.

Might mean nothing, or that things may be slowing a bit.....and everyone in Iowa may once again be in play.

Also as for the sun....it helps if you are one wanting severe weather. But this time of year with the spring wind fields as they can be, it's not necessary.
