I was wondering why Norvell wasn't playing.

Zach was the man during summer school "open court" with the guys ... then had meniscus surgery. While he scrimmaged against Baylor and played (very well) in the Exhibition game .... it's still bothering him. He's dressing for games and redshirt IS a possiblity .... but he'd definitely see the floor if he was healthy.

Sign me up for a home and home. I've always wondered why not get some games with good non P5 programs like Gonzaga, SDSU, Memphis, etc

It seems like a no-brainer.

-Those schools are looking for good non-cons due to their conference schedule weakness
-We're constantly having difficulty finding good P5 teams that will do a home and home
-We can all use more revenue
-Most of those schools recruit nationally, so lack of Iowa recruiting talent isn't a negative for them.
-You're not penalized for a road loss to good teams.

Gonzaga took care of Arizona today by 7 (up 12 at half). Maybe they're pretty good, huh?

They could easily finish with only 2-3 losses, as the main headliners left for them are Washington, at Tennessee and home and home against St Mary's.
