Was the Texas coach yelling at Otz or the ISU bench late in the game? I think it was at the last TV timeout. I swear I saw this live and then CW mentioned him and Otz getting into it a bit during his reaction pod.

Is your goat named Colby? I didn't catch who sent in the pic, but I heard your wife sent a goat pic in for the Cyclone pets feature on the big screen.

Yes!! Did they have it on there?

She's going to be pissed she missed it lol. She and her daughter were driving back from NY during the game.

Justice was in jail the first half. What got him in trouble with Johnny was hilarious. "Hey coach your shiiit ain't working." At previous ku game.
Best quote from Johnny was after the game in the press conference.

"We just beat the number 2 team in the country. Might wanna put that in the paper". ISU had been so disrespected by local media. Funny.

Lots of mentions of great loud atmospheres in here over the last two decades. But for us older folks who were there, the Oklahoma State game when they were #2 and we came back from 18 down at half to win OT was and is still the loudest I've ever seen Hilton. I was behind the basket when Alexander missed those late FTs and it was insane.

Was just telling my wife this exact same thing. They aren't the most talented team we've ever had, but certainly one of the most enjoyable to watch. And one of the best defensive teams I've ever seen at ISU.
Nobody on this team was a 247 Composite top 150 recruit (Eli King and Watson were close). Only 5 of them were top 200. It's an overused term but this team really is an island of misfit toys.

As was everyone…. and for very good reason.

Awesome win though, and Hunter can suck it!
There’s no reason to ***** 15 minutes into a game.
I remember the floor shaking and little kids with their hands over their ears. I was at the game and my friend said the announcers were saying "We can't hear each other so if we start talking over each other it's because we can't hear anything".

The other one I remember being out of control was the Texas player missing two free throws when he was like a 90 percent free throw shooter. That game was super loud.
I was at that Texas game. Brian Boddicker was the Texas player shooting the free throws. You couldn’t communicate with the person in the seat next to you in any way but sign language when he went to shoot the free throws. Missed them both.

The way he looked at the writer and the way he said it was priceless

Huge win. I don’t think ISU loses at home this year.
Next two home games are KSU and KU - all the stretches are touch - but this is a big one

Next 6:
@OSU
KSU
@Mizzou
@TTU
KU

We may be favored in all 6, but they are all knifes-edge games. 4-2 seems like a good outcome (stay #11-#15), 5 wins would be great (Top #10) - 6-0 makes us a top #5 team

I wasn't there last night, but I've been at most games in the last 30 years. That Okie State game was the only time I couldn't hear my own voice while screaming. It was that loud. Wish we'd had a decibel reading on that game.

Agree this and KU game both featured top 15 matchups and it's not on regular TV. It's just stupid.
Yeah.. then idiot Big Ten writers will talk about how low our ratings are compared to a bunch of their prime network games.

At a minimum, the Big XII should aggressively communicate level playing field data.. like how these last two games compared to other conferences' ESPN+ ratings.

Not to mention using total # of teams in tourneys, etc.. that are not adjusted for conference sizes...

My go-to "loudest" game was KU in '97 with Willoughby and Co. At one point Roy was yelling at Jacque Vaughn from about 5' away and Vaughn couldn't hear him - unfortunately #1 KU won that game
