Did we win? Went for a walk when we went up 3 in the second half, knew we had them. Team was playing hard, but not smart. Can Kansas fall to a 5 seed in the conference, even after BYU loses to ISU, and not receive a double bye? Still think Tamin and Hassan are nursing mid-major injuries.

Do you call this a lull? What do people expect? Are we supposed to blow every team out by 20 points or it's a dissapointment? This is the best conference in the country. It's rarely going to be easy.
Offensively? Absolutely. They are as a team combined 16-59 (27%) in 3’s since the Houston game. Tamin/keshon alone are 7-31 in the last two games. Fortunately, we’ve had guys step up each game (Pav/Demarion) and the defense has been outstanding to be able to still win. No one is expecting blow outs but you can tell they are tired and beat up. To still be winning is an elite trait most teams do not have.

I have no doubt Tamin and Keshon will get it going again.

Kansas loses tie breakers to BYU
If BYU beats TCU tonight they are up a game with 2 to play.

KU has to go to Houston

I don't think the team is broken, but I do think the team is in a bit of a slump offensively, and not just entirely because of the level of our competition that they're going to need to pull out of to win the next 2 games or go on a deep run

They've also played really good defenses that cause discomfort.

They could be scoring 80/game with super efficiency and still lose the first round.

Nothing happening right now has to correlate with three weeks from now.

Or they have just been playing some really good defenses. People always feel winning has to look a certain way or the team isn't performing well. They are winning in some tough situations and getting it done. Shots aren't always going to fall so they have to find other ways. I agree they were not performing at maximum levels on offense, but that rarely happens. Getting it done and winning in multiple ways is the mark of a good team. A lull is losing. They aren't losing.

BRE is a raging bull. I figured he was out for a couple games after he had his head smacked diving for a loose ball. He only was off the floor for a couple minutes. Love his over the top dedication.
That dude is never going to buy his own beer in Ames after this season concludes.

Seems like too much passing up of open shots today. Tamin only took 2 shots (3ball and an open layup IIRC). Ward had a couple of open 8 footers and did not even consider shooting.

Man how is OU hosting the #1 team in the country on a Saturday night primetime slot as a team sliding toward the bubble and have so many empty seats?

A lull is not just losing games. A lull is not performing at the high level you previously were. Which we are not compared to mid-Jan to mid-Feb which is fine because we are still winning and that’s what elite team do.

You literally echoed exactly what I said but are hung up on the word lull.
