I think Mooney came from South Dakota, but yes, I would love to have a Matt Mooney on our team.Maybe he could be our Matt Mooney, just with a much shorter stay at SDS.
The gym rat or the bad turnover guy? Both.
I know this is a meme but honestly it is what we need. Remember when we used to hear stories about Georges, Matt, Monte and Naz in the gym every chance they could get? Where did those stories go the last couple years. And this team definitely needs more high IQ guys. So many dumb turnovers where we just throw the ball away or bounce it off our own foot.
Does it matter they’re in the same class?
Lots of teams have a 6’1” and a 6’2” player in their rotation.
Frank Mason was 5'11" and Devonte Graham was 6'2". Of course, that's Kansas and they cheat.Starting together? Playing major minutes at the same time? In the Big 12?
It's really not that big of a deal. It really depends more on the type of players they are, their wingspan, vertical, and general athletic ability.Starting together? Playing major minutes at the same time? In the Big 12?

Can you have two small, slow, unathletic guys that can only shoot and pass? No.
It's not terribly common, but I don't think a coach should shy away from a smaller guard, just because he's already got one in the same class. Especially if they're able to complement each other.
For instance, a Mason and Grahm or Pullen and Clemente, or Harper and Bryce Brown for Auburn this season, just off the top of my head.
Some fans like Gunner are stuck in the 80’s.Frank Mason was 5'11" and Devonte Graham was 6'2". Of course, that's Kansas and they cheat.

There are plenty of teams with three guards in their rotation that go 6’3”, 6’3”, and 6’0”. Particularly when two of those are athletic and long, and the team is playing small ball with a shot-blocker like Conditt at the five.

6'2" Morris
6'4" Mitrou-Long
6'4" Thomas
6'4" Burton
6'8" / 240 Young in the middle
...worked pretty well.
I think I am being generous with 2-3 of those heights, too, but that is what is on Sports Reference.
Burton is listed at 6'5, Morris at 6'3", and Mitrou Long at 6'4" on NBA.com. Young would be the only one I question.
