We are the worst 3 point defensive team in the history of college basketball.

Some of you don't get it. When all a team does is set screens out top and shoot 23-27 foot threes and shooters are hot it doesn't matter what team u play for or what division...there's not a lot u can do when 2-3 guys just are in rythym and feeling it. Game really should have been a 40-50 pt blow out but when u lose interest and the other team can't miss threes it stays closer than it should.

Some people just don't get that you can play good defense and still get scored on and that happened on a lot of their three pointers tonight

So it's coincidence that it happens to us more than most?

Hope the boys are ready for the real games now.

I remember reading an article somewhere that talked about defensive 3pt. %. It basically determined that there is not much statistical evidence to support that some teams defend the 3 better than others. It's mostly luck that determines whether teams shoot well against you or not. I know we give up some open 3's, but so does every other team in the country. Teams just seem to hit a TON of long contested 3's on us this year (that UNI game was unlike anything I've ever seen against us except maybe when Baylor went off in the 2nd half to beat us at home last year and hit something like 7-8 straight 3's.)

Carter has to be one of the quickest players to dunk that I have ever seen!
