still just kills me how well teams seem to shoot the 3 against ISU. Sure, they are working to get an open shot, but ISU seems to miss a lot of open 3s.

You are seeing a once again horrible team that is simply just resorting to shooting threes and many contested and hitting em. Nothing U can do. Burton can play btw.

The 3-pt defense has generally been lousy since the middle of the first half. Walters and Heft have even commented on it a couple of times.

Siap haven't read whole thread.

Carter appears to be more of a project than I hoped he'd be. He has not been very well coached to this point in his life. Makes every mistake big men are told not to make from a very young age: putting the ball on the floor when he shouldnt, bringing it down where smaller players can swipe it, leaving his feet on shot fakes etc. Correctable but gonna take some work!

It's odd that posters haven't yet realized that this team just isn't going to go all-out against totally inferior competition.
Strength or weakness or whatever, it is what it is. They'll be fine against Kansas and Oklahoma. Seems like this unit has put together some wins against those teams.
