I know I am early, but I have not had a new thread in a long time and the rest of you have not had much success in bringing the Cyclones to a victory, so...

Go Cyclones!

How can this thread be "***Official***" when it even isn't game day yet?

I haven't had a new thread in a long long time, so I am going with you. Maybe this will help. Go Cyclones! Time to go wake up the 10yr old and hit the road.

i think we relive our homecoming nightmare of 2000, when a$m came to ames and the most impressive unit of the day was the aggie's marching band. we lost 30-7. i think the spread will be about the same today (after we score a late TD in garbage time).

call me a pessimist, but we simply aren't a very good team this year and it is starting to show. no discipline, turnovers, injuries, bad QB play, all that adds up to a team that isn't going to win many games. certainly not in the big 12 anyway (maybe in the big 10 though:).

regardless, go clones. hope you make me eat my words.

On the pregame show, Pollard said he thinks we can hit 50,000 every home game this season. Today should be above 52,000.

He also said that if Missouri leaves the back up plan is set and it will be good for the Big 12. Essentially, the Big 12 will NOT get easier for Iowa State (context was with the level of competition this year in the Big 12).
