If we can get a little bigger cushion in the 3rd, I feel that Jantz will buckle down & take us to the finish line. If he has to come back after an Iowa score to start the 3rd, I'm worried that "Evil Steele" will reappear. If we can get to a 12 or 16 point margin, I think we've won the game. If we have to fight back from one down or even from Iowa cutting the margin to 3, I think we can still win but it's going to go down to the wire.

Let's hope Wally & the defense are ready to rumble after the half.

ISU with the miscues and turnovers are keeping iowa within easy striking distance. If iowa does get ahead isu i am not confident that we will be able to respond.

The key to the 2nd half will be the defenses. Ours is pretty well rested, theirs has been on the field a lot.

Don't get me wrong: "Evil Steele" won some games for us last year, but they were nailbiters. When we're equal or slightly better in our matchups like we are today, I prefer to win big & save the nailbiter wins for OU or Texas.
