I believe I heard someone say once given enough time there will always be someone wide open. We are not able to reduce the time the qb. Has to look around forever. No backfield is going to. Lock down for 15 seconds.

It is nothing new for the QB to have all day. We had the zone going and guys covered. Now, QB has all day and guys open.

Heacock changed the D to a 3-3-5 for the Texas game in 2017 to take advantage of our best guys. 6 years later, time to go back to 4 down linemen.

I think the 3-3-5 stack broke a couple years ago. It is still good vs teams like Iowa and lesser opponents, or ones who don't see it often. But it has become dog **** against Big 12 opponents who have seen it for half a decade now and most of them run variations of it now
