I've always argued they can't call themselves TEU if freaking George Kittle was that underutilized in college.
I why they believe they should be considered as they do have some very good TE's in the NFL but I'd be pissed about the production they got in college compared to what they've done in the pros.

I don't see a 2:30pm game on ESPN listed here.

I have a question about this. This game is down from last year, but is that because of the streaming and channel?

Last year it was on Fox. While fox does have an app, I dont see them pushing it as a viewing platform nearly like CBS does for Paramount+

In most cases those Streaming apps numbers are not made available, or are not included in the totals.

So is the amount of people watching on Paramount+ included in the CBS number?

There has been a big push to get people to watch on Paramount+, Peacock and other streaming apps because they want people to sub there for their other content. I have also seen a lot of people promoting watching on these streams vs on Yttv, or Hulu etc as sometimes the picture is better quality from their direct source.

Just seems like these numbers get more and more unreliable as more watch via other avenues, that may or may not be included. We all know channel, time slot etc mean as much or more to the viewer number as does who is playing.

Don't overanalyze it. The game was awful for a half. Even some of our own die hard fans admitted to turning the game off. A casual watcher probably turned the channel before they did. 3 million is a good number for daytime football.

LOL

Quite the color guy....you are supposed to talk sometimes, ya know, provide color commentary and assist your PxP announcer. When he taps you, that means talk not just grunt and groan.

He was dying which is awesome to see :)

Funny how Iowa's color guy must wait to be tapped by Dolphin before he can speak. Pretty sure Heft does not wait to be tapped by Walters before he speaks.

Hope the Hok fans are still tasting those tears from last Saturday. Hoping for another home loss this weekend!
Troy used to be legit -- the kind of team that regularly could knock off a Power Conference team.

I was trying to think of the defensive coordinator ISU hired from Troy.

So does anyone know why CMC was talking to Aaron Graves after the game? It doesn't appear ISU even offered him out of high school.

Probably just telling him good game. He probably didn't get an offer because he was committed in 2019 as a class of 2022 graduate. He was going to Iowa

David Eickholt tweeted out a fun fact the other day.. Tim Lester was going to be the OC at Troy this year but Iowa offered him instead. What a turn of events!
