You know the program is in a bad place when taking my kids to see Santa sounds less painful than watching the game.
There was a time not too long ago when I would have looked forward to watching this game, even with it being on an odd Friday night right before the big holiday week, but I just can't fake any enthusiasm for this game or the program anymore.
If we are within single digits at halftime I might tune in for the 2nd half, but otherwise that's about it.

I usually drive to Morgantown to watch them beat the stuffing out of us.
Usually my only chance to see the team live every year.

I was going to say this is a horrible matchup for ISU, but then I thought, well, this year almost every matchup is a horrible matchup for them.

That was a weird game where we somehow won with the bad 2018 team over a good opponent despite not having Nick Weiler-Babb. Jackson went off for 25 going 6/10 from three.
Maybe the best game of Zoran Talley's career as a Cyclone playing point forward against their press.

Sent the "four horsemen" out with a win in KC.
I am not expecting tonight to be pretty, but for this being a "horrible matchup" against them, it seems we tend to beat them once per season (somehow, someway) with some regularity.
I think the data above shows hot shooting is obviously important to that.

just watch a replay of the ISU OU game from earlier this year. I care about you, don't do this to yourself
I'm to the point with this team that I won't watch the game. Seeing a brand of basketball this bad is too hurtful and certainly not entertaining. I will record the game just in case they actually do something worth watching, but I think that is very unlikely.
