That was really good discipline by that dude from KU. They knew we had that play, but it'd be hard to not focus on the run.

So on 2 of the 3 TDs we come away with a bad feeling - we have certainly given KU every opportunity to take this game.

Too early. More points are going to be scored. Now if KU scores a TD, it's a 2 score game.

And if we fail at the end of the game it's too late to do anything about it. Now we know we need 2 scores and there's a full quarter to go about doing something about it.

I understand that the risk may not seem like its worth it.

But i've never understood the argument of waiting to go for 2 until that last possible chance. What is the difference between going for a 2 and not getting it here, than going for 2 after scoring a TD with a minute left and missing that? Other than it being more of a kick to the stones if you wait.

IMO its better to go for 2 right away and deal with whatever happens afterwards when you still have time to make up for a mistake.

What scenarios do you imagine where we'll lose by one now? KU scoring two FGs is one way. I'm thinking if they have two scoring drives we're toast anyway.

The other is KU misses an extra point and then we'd be going for two late instead of going for two when we did.

What about either team makes this announcer think a KU receiver should have caught that ball?
