What a turn for this season; this is one game I would not have guessed ISU to be favored in even 4 weeks ago.
Winning post! If the OL can block today... everything else will take care of itself (as long as ST's doesn't F up everything).
The Bear has us listed on his board today.....was kind of hoping to fly under the radar today.
I think we have to win this game today to get to a bowl. I don't see us winning both remaining games....but who knows. We just need the offense to have a decent day is all.

Is this the end of his first TD run? I remember thinking…”Ok, that will play” when he fake pitched and then sprinted untouched from 30. What a great 4 year stretch that started.
5 wins makes a bowl this year, but I would rather get 6 and do it the right way.
This feels like a really big game, not just for this season but maybe going forward. If we get this one I feel good about a bowl game, which I think would be huge for development and my overall prospects about next year. Maybe that’s dumb, but idk
That games feels like it was yesterday. Not over 4 years ago. Now hes all grown up and in San Fran in the big leagues.
The Bear continues to give Iowa State some pub. Of course, he takes the Cyclones on his GameDay board.
The thing I remember most about that play was that it wasn’t even a typical fake pitch. Instead it was a pump fake. He acted like he was going to toss the RB a spiraled pass, and not a pitch. The first of many pump fakes.
I think any sort of 'surge' to end the season in a bowl after so much weirdness would be great for the group.
I don't put stock in bowl performace for the next season but more practice is good as is more football to watch.
I don't put stock into next season either, with NIL + instant transfers being a thing, our team can and probably will look drastically different next year.
