We caught a few breaks there.
With all do respect, we caught no breaks. Other than a shot after the buzzer, every time down the floor for the last 13 minutes of the game, we got called for a foul literally no matter what we did. Straight up, foul, lean into their body, foul, breath on them, foul. It was pretty pathetic. And I normally give the refs the benefit of the doubt but tonight, wow.

We didn't really have a choice but to have Babb out there with 2 starters out. It's on Prohm that he ends up with the ball in his hands at the end IMO. You can't have that.

Thank goodness Tech is more incompetent than we are, that's all I can say.
Enjoy the win man. Getting a win in Lubbock has been hard for us since the beginning of time

The cardiac clones find another way to to give me a heart attack and still manage to pull this one out. These guys have grit and toughness, and even though are offense was one dimensional in ot because of the foul outs, they found ways to get to the line and get one against a tough opponent.

Why cant we just win a game? Why do we have to make it interesting?

Last game wasn't interesting at the end. TCU never led in the second half and never got closer than I think 7 in the last 10 minutes. Don't believe the @K State game got within 6 in the second half either.

Never.

Ever.

Pleased.

Dude does what only one other coach ever did (at KU), and does what Baylor and WVU couldn't do (win at Tech) and it's still never good.

People really ripping on Babb? The dude is as solid as a role player as you can get. Makes very few mistakes, can break pressure, body up bigger guys on defense. He missed two free throws in a spot he's never been before. Saw a lot more important players than him do the same thing. I'm a huge Babb fan.

Phew!

I didn't think there was a way we'd pull that one off with Burton (although, it was bad Burton tonight) and Mitrou-Long out in OT.
