I’m not sure what everyone was expecting tonight but this is pretty much what I was. Tech plays some scrappy D and they got the runouts to prove it. Clean up the lazy passes and we’re in this.
Yep ... lazy passes and missed free throws are the difference point-wise.

Jackolby had an open three on the curl but hesitated. Left us with a worse shot. Just not looking for his shot, which I get. May have been surprised to be open too.

I’d like to see what he can do with a little more playing time and confidence under his belt.

Seems solid defensively and rebounds fairly well. Don't know a whole lot else, other than he can get hot from 3 if given the opportunities

I think the same goes for Lewis. People ***** about his defense. Compared to who?

I don't think it's an ability thing...he may just need more real-time reps.

What's worse:
1. The announcers
2. The refs
3. Cam's defense when he is trying not to fowl
4. Any shot from Beverly not from mid range

Learning to play defense without being aggressive is pretty tricky, especially when you're still deep in the learning curve in general.

Beverly's hit some very nice 3's this year. It's his last time playing college basketball. Let it fly. What's going to happen, ISU losing more than we're used to?

Is Wigginton and Jackson going in blind a better option?

He or Lewis need to be designated as our additional three point threats and then just go with it. Talley and Beverly are just not great from out there.

If I were them, I’d be in the gym stroking three ball after three ball a la Naz. It’s what this team is missing and their best shot to get meaningful minutes.

Considering Lard and Wigginton had significant bench time and essentially nothing from Jackson, we aren't in a bad place.

He a better option from 3 than Young, Talley, Lewis (until he stops being ice cold), and Brase.

I think they are. Just not translating just yet.

Naz Long is a pretty damn good example of how things can change from one year to the next...I'd say Lewis is at least getting valuable experience with the playing time he's getting.
