Hard to think of Jameel without thinking of high flying dunks, alley oops, running the floor and beating even smaller guys to the hoop. He's had several games this year (including the last one) where it seemed like he got every defensive rebound.
Yep, Kansas last year was the first game I thought of. Watching him run the floor against their bigs and seeing Billy Boy Self with no answer was incredible.
Dayum - I miss that "Predator" hair...wish he didn't bundle it all up like he does now.

Steal and the run out dunk in the Big12 championship helping to ignite that run in the second half. Seeming to be the only one doing anything in the first half of the Oklahoma home game last year. The transition dunks against KU at home last year as previously noted. Thanks for the memories Jameel, excited to see what you will do in March.
He gives great energy and really tracks down the ball when he's in there. He is one of the better rebounders I've seen wear an ISU uniform and will be sorely missed.

A great NCAA tournament can put a guy right on the NBA map. It's the last impression they will get.
I've believed it from almost the first time I was him play - Jameel has skills that will translate to the NBA. When he plays his game at the college level he's a huge advantage for us. Here's to hoping he closes it out on his terms and in high flying fashion.
I still want to see McKay drain a 3 sometime, but mostly because that means we are winning big. I hope he has a big game today.
Best memory is that KU "Gameday" game last year when he just punked the Jaysqawks. His transition dunks were solid.

No specific memory, in the end I know the kid means well. Even through all that has happened this year, I know he is must have with Big 12 tournament and NCAA's.... And am very confident he will show up....
jamerl, like all of the players, is great with the fans at the CCL. But Jameel had my favorite moment s few years ago when a little kid ran out on the court right before the game and straight into jsmeels arms. He picked her up and had the biggest smile. Jameel has a great smile!
He he is a really good player that has helped us win a lot of games.
