Could this be one of the most important games of the Prohmian era? I don't think anything will happen at the end of this season regardless. Lose today, though, and it makes losing out for the rest of the season look a bit more likely.

To lose today would be a disgrace for Iowa State. This is the worst Kansas State team in years from a talent standpoint on top of the fact that they are leaderless and have checked out mentally.

Big BIG game given where we are, and where they are. We need a third player beyond our big 2 to play well offensively.

So they'll go nuts today.

Conditt's going to get his mojo back by changing the spelling of his name to "Georges" like a Cyclone should :)

I have to think that a matchup of two Big 12 teams with a combined 18 wins is not what ESPN had in mind when they scheduled this game, but here we are.

I wonder how many people will actually be in attendance tonight.

Kansas State lost a lot last year, but they are surprisingly bad IMO. With a core of Diarra, Sneed, and Mawien, I'd figure they at least would've been a bubble team

I'm surprised people are saying this is a big game.. like, sure, a win would end the losing streak but a win or a loss here means very little overall to the season. A decision on Prohm isn't going to be made based on one game against another bad team, and the season (barring some miracle in the Big XII tourney) is already over.

Prohm should do the exact opposite of what he feels he should do. At this point what do we have to lose. His subbing might make sense.
