Solid win, hopefully something the build on.
Really want that Texas and TCU games back. .500 in conference heading into this next stretch and we might have been able to salvage this turd of a season

Seriously - those 2 games and the Florida game and this team is probably just where they should be - a pedestrian roster after losing all that talent from last year with some length and athleticism in the wings for next year. Would - for ME anyway - be a completely different spin on this program at this point in time.

ISU would be borderline bubble if those games all would've swung.

13-10 (5-5)

Quad 1 record still low (3-10, but up from 2-11 with win at Texas). Plus, no losses below Quad 1. (wipes out 1 loss each in Q2, 3 and 4)

We’d be tied for fifth in Big 12 (with head-to-head tiebreaker over OU).

And the frustrating part is it was mostly execution that caused those losses. FAMU scored at will on us, we couldn't stop them (and weren't very efficient ourselves). Simply no reason for that given the talent disparity. TCU went to OT on a fluke half-courter, which happens, but our best players faltered in OT. Same at Texas -- late-game manageable lead, but the execution on the floor disappears. This team clearly didn't know how to go win a game very well...

...but yesterday was at least a step in the right direction. They went out there without their best player and executed at a high enough level to win it late (particularly... Lewis and Nixon).

Solo-really good as usual
MJ - I thought played above average, but looking at the box score was 1 of 6
Conditt- above average for this year
Nixon - way above average
Lewis- actually thought he had a poor game up until those 2 three pointers(great to see that) and fast brake layup
Bolton - struggled shooting and at the point but perfect from the line
Hali - :(

MJ was great on defense but atrocious on offense

SIAP, but the game replay is in 15 minutes on ESPNU. Good chance to see the dominating start of the game that most of us missed.
