I’m of the opinion it boils down to two things. First is play calling. We are endlessly predictably and when you play exclusively within 5 yards of the LOS you are easy to stop. When you’re entire offense is outside zone or square out you become very easy to defend.

Lord knows Purdy has done great things for us but either he gets back to his old ways or you give Dekkers a shot. If we are being honest he was very marginal last year and has been downright bad this year. The refusal to scramble is greatly hurting us.. There was a play in the 3rd quarter where he easily had a 5-7 yard scramble and just tossed it away. For whatever reason they are intent on keeping him in or around the pocket and thats not going to work.

I thought that was pretty definitive Purdy today. He's thrown for a gazillion yards but there's been a lot of games where he just gets twisted and can't get back on track.

It’s stupid to meltdown. Was this loss annoying? Yes of course it was, but when your team suffers from 4 turnovers you don’t win games. You could argue had those turnovers gone our way or even not happen at all we could have won. I still have a lot of hope for this team and look forward to watching their games this season.

Refocus, regroup, and reevaluate and get ready for VEGAS BABY - Cyclone power !!

If you don't want to melt down, you'll have to stop spending so much time talking about that game.

I'd recommend more cheerful topics such as taxes, colonoscopies and Iowa winters.

I’m really raking up the dumb ratings from criticalobserver. I’m beginning to think he doesn’t like me. Lol
