I really like Prohm, but it's inexcusable for THT to start over Wiggington.

It's funny - I thought I was going to actively hate the "have fun in Bama" posts, and here I am, not hating them. While I still find them a little dooshy and while I'm not actively calling for a new coach, I'm surprisingly neutral on the idea, which is really unlike me. Perhaps it's because this was a team talented enough to run away with the Big 12 this year, but then February happened. And then tonight happened.

There's really no reason to be surprised by the outcome of this game. We tanked hard the last month of the season, excluding the conference tourney. I don't know who to blame, but tonight was the entire season wrapped up into a single game. It's poetic.

We do always manage to end poetically.

Niang's freshman year to OSU on blown ref calls and an apology.
The 20 point comeback against Purdue where that group finally managed to come up just short after all their comebacks.

If nothing else, we end poetically.

This team refused to do the little things. U can’t coach every little thing. The guys need a serious gut check.

I think you can coach mental toughness. This team did not have it.

Let them spend a week with Huggins or Izzo and I promise it’s a whole different team

Refs were bad.

Game plan sucked.

# only team in NCAA tournament who does not start best players

We certainly didn't start our best players tonight...
1. Shayok
2. Lard
3. Wigg
pretty big drop off after that although Tyrese had a potential game breaking play the officials decided to disallow for no reason

Honestly I think this may have been a game where Jacobson could have dominated next to Lard. The offense wasn't exploding anyway, would two big guys really have been that impossible? It's like we aren't allowed to do it.

How can our coach expect our team to have fire when he has absolutely none. I'm so f#*$ng tired of watching him stand there emotionless putting on chapstick while his players are playing so sloppy and getting absolutely screwed by the refs. Just f^#&ng stands there.

Put on your big boy pants. You can get through this.

It goes a lot deeper then that but you don't think the OSU game plan was better?

They we’re going to win a slugfest. The game was allowed to be played extremely physical. It’s crazy that there was so much body on every play, and couldn’t get a call.

We got nothing from three guys. Shot terrible with some good looks.

The official counted five with his arm. Go back and watch him. Gave the ball to the OSU player, started counting out with his arm like all officials do, reached five....probably could have done six when the OSU player called time. Don't know why he didn't blow his whistle when he reached five. Are they suppose to give them more time?

I counted outloud from the time the whistle blew until the OSU player called time and I almost got to 6 also.
