I’ve thought about Missouri basketball about zero times since they self relegated. The one time was when one of our worst teams played them and their one and done mcd AA only played 60 seconds of his entire college career before getting hurt. Other than that I know absolutely nothing of them.

I was kind of expecting Omaha to get put in there with BRE and King having big foul problems. Watson and Ward more than held their own as subs. The bench scored TWICE as many baskets as the starters tonight.

Pretty crazy to think we win by double digits and our starters go 7-38 from the field. Like you mention, our bench outscored our starters.

Great to see Watson get the payoff tonight on the offensive end because he give 100% every game on defense. I feel like this was a case where Watson's length and quickness of the floor matched up well against OU. TJ probably got a little lucky on his substitution rotation was Ro Jones and King got in foul trouble and OU's defense was tough on Momcilovic.

It might be a stretch, but not by much, that Curtis Jones has been the Cyclones MVP during the Big12 season. He has made a lot of big shots when our offense has struggled to make baskets..

Athletically ISU imo may not even be top half of the conference.

That's not a slight; they're just at minimum solid all over and there's a 2nd 'wave' that doesn't give much room.

This has evolved into something special and hopefully it caps off in late March.

11 straight double digit games, rarely turns it over, plays great defense. He’s just really dependable. Others have to step up to win games, but he’s always going to be the steady guy in there.

I was surprised when they said that we haven't had a Big 12 player of the week yet. Just goes to show how deep this team is, and how a different guy steps up for us nearly every night.

It just shows we are the epitome of a team that's greater than the sum of its parts, which is also the epitome of a TJ team.

My favorite Watson possession was one on defense against Moore (I believe), after Watson's big rebounding/scoring run. Moore was trying to take Watson one-on-one and kept trying to drive thinking he had a half step on Watson. But Demarion just casually slid his feet and got back in front, so casual that he almost looked disinterested by the whole thing.

It was really cool seeing the ovation and Watson's big smile when TJ talked to him when he came out. It seems like Watson is a pretty low-key guy who doesn't have big reactions on the court, so seeing a smile that big was awesome.

TJ said he was telling Watson to just stop and look all around the auditorium and see how much the crowd loves the effort he gave tonight, just let it soak in.

This team is really giving me 99-00 flashbacks. Just tough as nails and manufactures wins in whatever way they need on that day.

That season taught me to try not to waste my time waiting for the other shoe to drop, because sometimes a team is just that good.
