TJs teams don’t appear to be good enough offensively to get to the next level. Is what it is. Sweet 16 will probably always be our ceiling. The program now is in so much better shape to win conference titles and make NCAA runs than when Hoiberg was here. If Fred's teams had an off shooting night it was a guaranteed loss. TJ's teams are good defensively. I mean real good most of the time. They run the packline about as well as anyone.
You’re right, let’s stick with Kelderman and continue losing by 20 instead of trying Jones at PG with Watson’s size and athleticism on the court.
Defense hasn't been great.
It's one game. What a dumb take. All season the same thing when things dont go our way. No fan of this coach…there; I said it.
That’s where the reevaluation has to happen. We have the dudes to make the tournament. I’d rather be a fresh and healthy 6 seed than a gassed 3 seedThey have very physical practices
Also they whole margin of victory NET stuff has guys playing a lot of minutes they would not normally play
You might need to re think it.
Houston normally flames out too
no diceima go see if i can get it in with my wife
peace
Lipsey is to beat up to play 40 minutes. appreciate his guts and resolve but quite frankly he probably shouldn't be playing at all.Simply put, we are not making a 17 pt comeback with Kelderman in the game.
If they lose tonight it's not like they choked. This team has bean beat up into a shell of what it was 2 months ago. Has anyone dealt with key injuries like ISU?People have to realize that we are always going to be able to put together a great 5 man roster under TJ, but with NIL and stuff, adding enough strong scorers is always going to be the ceiling. It means we have a very narrow margin for injuries or slumps, and that is what you are seeing.
TJ is a stud, but he can’t shoot the ball and Gilbert out takes a massive toll.
Relax with the coach comments.
I think the opposite. Fred was successful because no one else wanted to do what he did in year 1, which is keep a pipeline of sit transfers. To be fair Fred’s first 4 years probably would have been level with TJs had the transfer rules been the same in 2010. Still great start here in Ames.
